On the 10th January 2020, Dan Hawbrook visited Year 6 at Bourne Elsea Park and delivered us a fantastic E-Safety workshop. He gave us lots of information about how the internet can be an incredible place to explore, learn and socialise. He also gave us lots of interesting stories of how the internet has helped him: one example being how he was able to track down his lost cat through social media- something he wouldn’t have been able to do years ago. During the morning, we learned useful tips on how to prevent, react and stay safe when online. Everyone in Year 6 really enjoyed this brilliant experience and went away full of, interesting facts, how to enjoy the internet (whilst taking regular breaks) and safe time online.
