There’s Something Fishy Going on in Year 1!
Last week there was a new addition to Y1! A sea bream! As part of our learning about animals and their features, we closely observed a real fish. We looked at its gills, fin, scales and we even took a peek inside its mouth. We then used these observations to create detailed drawings of the fish. I think you’ll agree – they are pretty ‘fin-tastic’! We also wrote non-fiction paragraphs all about the fabulous fish and their features.
