On a sunny day at the Market Deeping Cricket Club, eight Year 5 and 6 from Bourne Elsea Park Academy participated in an exciting cricket tournament, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. Our team was one of ten teams from South Lincolnshire competing in this thrilling event.

Throughout the day, the boys displayed fantastic teamwork, determination, and superb sport SMART talents. They impressed everyone with their ability to hit the ball for 4’s and 6’s, and they scored multiple runs, adding significant points to their totals. Their prowess wasn’t just limited to batting; our young cricketers also excelled in bowling, taking several crucial wickets that helped us stay competitive in every match.

The spirit of the game was superb, with every player contributing to the team’s overall success. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude were commendable, embodying the true spirit of sportsmanship and Bourne Elsea Park.
