        Year 6 Leavers Service

        Author: Alex Worrall

During the last week of term, Year 6 parents, carers and staff joined together for the Year 6 Leavers service. The service was a fantastic way to look back on the time the children had spent with us at Elsea Park.

The service included memories shared by both staff and children of their proudest achievements, moments they would cherish for ever and why they have enjoyed their time so much at primary school. Year 6 also sang a couple of songs to celebrate the special occasion including a song from their year 6 production.

Certificates, medals, and dictionaries were presented to all children to commemorate their time at primary school. Additionally, several awards were handed out including the ‘Friendship’, ‘Headteachers’, and ‘Determination’ awards. These were awarded to highlight the achievements of children who went above and beyond during their time.

The leavers service is a wonderful occasion to come together and celebrate the achievements of our Year 6 leavers. We are so proud of everything they have achieved during their time with us. We wish them all the best in the future and would like to remind them to fly high like the geese, show enthusiasm but most importantly that they have the Wow Factor.
