Striving For Excellence, Caring For All In a Loving And Caring Christian Environment.

        Let’s Open The Book….

        Author: Lorna Ockwell

Today we heard the story of Daniel in the lion’s den in our Open the Book Collective Worship. Daniel was a hardworking man with lots of responsibility, but he always made time to pray to God. Even when his enemies tried to trick him and punish him, he carried on praying to God. Even when he was in despair and danger, he carried on praying to God. Just like our memory verse this term says, he set an example to us by praying to God and being loyal to him even through hard times, and because of this God was there for him and saved him from danger.

In our reflection time, we had to think of a time where we had to brave … we considered the question; how can praying to God help you when you have to brave and face something difficult?
