A Peaceful Celebration from the Salvation Army
On Wednesday 17th, we were lucky enough to be visited by Sarah from the Salvation Army. Sarah came to see us to talk to us about Peace and to teach us a poem called How Peace Begins. The children were immediately transfixed as Sarah began signing as she spoke. The children loved hearing Sarah’s story of how and why she began signing and then they all gave 100% as they joined in to learn the words to How Peace Begins. This really got the children feeling inspired and now they can’t wait to get signed up for Miss Perry’s Signing Club after the holiday.
