Astronaut Salads
In DT this term, Year 1 have learnt about preserving food – just like our great explorers would have done. We have tasted and evaluated a range of different preserved foods (like olives, couscous, sun dried tomatoes and dried fruits) and designed and made our own Astronaut Salads, using kitchen knives carefully to chop different ingredients. Our salads were nutritious and delicious!
