        Democracy in Action!

        Author: Lorna Ockwell

Here we are again on one of the most important days of our school year, Democracy Day.  Celebrating all British Values but essentially Democracy and Individual Liberty, the children have been using their right to have their voices heard by voting for their chosen Student Council and Eco Warrior candidates.  Polling cards have been exchanged for ballot papers and they have been rewarded for their patience as they awaited the results in our Golden Book Collective Worship on Monday 25th September.  Well done to all those courageous candidates who took part for showing such tremendous self-belief!  Here are our fabulous new Student Council, ready to be representatives of Pupil Voice over the next exciting year!
