Does Bourne have a problem with traffic?
As part of their Geography work this term, Year 6 have conducted a fieldwork investigation to answer the question ‘Does Bourne have a problem with traffic?’
The children walked down towards Tesco to complete their fieldwork activities. They began by completing an environmental survey. Next they took photos and created a sketch map of the area focussing on land use. Finally they completed a traffic survey.
When they returned to school they collated their findings, creating a bar chart to analyse the amount of traffic flowing into Bourne. They researched different traffic calming measures which could be introduced to the town and presented their findings to the class.
