        Easter Eggscitement Enters Elsea Park

        Author: Lorna Ockwell

Thursday 31st March 2022 was not an ordinary Thursday at Bourne Elsea Park, CofE Primary Academy, it was a very special ‘Easter Eggstravaganza!’  The day began with a spectacular bonnet parade where both teachers and children dazzled the crowd with their marvellous homemade creations.  This was followed by the hugely competitive egg rolling experience, which was nothing other than a smashing event!  Next the children went on a special Easter crossword hunt around school where they worked together to decipher a missing Easter message and of course there was the popular Easter chick hunt where the children tried to find mystery chicks that had hatched over the school. Finally, there was the egg decorating competition which included some very thoughtful and intricate creations.  It was a fantastic day, filled with teamwork and bravery (as well as a quite a few chocolate eggs)! A huge well done to everyone for taking part and making the day so special.

        Happy Easter everyone!
