Bourne Elsea Park Breakfast Club caters for all children in school. The Club is registered to take up to 61 children per morning offering each child breakfast up to 8.20a.m.
Breakfast is an important start to a child’s day, to help them stay focused on the day ahead. The Club’s prices include a nutritious breakfast which is in compliance with the Academy’s ‘Healthy Schools’ status. All dietary requirements and allergies are catered for.
Breakfast Club is open from 7.30a.m. Parents/carers are able to use the staff/visitors’ car park, providing cars are parked in designated parking areas. Children should then be accompanied to the door and will be met by a member of the Breakfast Club staff.
During the morning session the children have the opportunity to finish homework, draw pictures, challenge friends to a game of table football, build with construction materials, play with the small world or board games.
Throughout the summer months the children can enjoy the outside area before school begins.
Around 8.40a.m. each morning the children help to tidy away the toys and then prepare for a day of learning ahead.
Bourne Elsea Park Kids’ Club complements the normal school day to offer children aged 4-11 years wrap around care in an outstanding provision. We are open from 3.15 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday during term time.
The staff ratio is kept at 1:8 for children aged 4 and above.
Suitable activities are available for age, needs and abilities and follow EYFS guidelines for younger children.
Each session the children will have the opportunity to play games, engage in the small world area, let their imagination come to life in role play, use their energy during outdoor play and get creative in the messy area.
