        KS2 Girls football Tournament and FA #LetGirlsPlay Festival

        We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of our Year 3, 4, 5, and 6 girls’ football teams who recently participated in a riveting 6-a-side football tournament at Bourne Abbey Primary School as well as a football festival held at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre as part of The FA’s #LetGirlsPlay campaign. 

        Throughout the tournament and festival, our talented girls showcased an outstanding display of determination, teamwork, courage, sportsmanship and perseverance. It was a day filled with exciting moments and spirited competition as our young athletes gave their absolute best on the. 

        The teams not only exhibited exceptional football skills but also demonstrated the true essence of sportsmanship, supporting and encouraging each other every step of the way. Their commitment to teamwork and their unwavering perseverance in the face of challenges truly stood out. 

        As a school, we couldn’t be prouder of our Year 3, 4, 5, and 6 girls who represented us with passion and dedication. Their positive attitude, resilience, and the values they displayed on the Astro Turf and Sports Hall reflect the spirit of our school community. 

        Congratulations to our remarkable young athletes for their outstanding performance and for embodying the principles of sportsmanship. We look forward to cheering them on in future sporting events. Well done, girls!
