        One Day Creative E-Safety Workshops

        Author: Alex Worrall

Over the last couple of weeks, children in years 1-6 took part in E-safety workshops with One Day Creative.  The workshops explored online safety topics through drama.

Children in Year 1 and 2 took part in the ‘Into the Screen’ workshop. Using well known fairy tales, the workshop helped the children to explore tricky situations and dangers they may find online and how they can keep safe online.

In KS2, the children took part in a brand-new workshop ‘Online Safety: The Big Questions’. The children became Online Philosophers, and pondered big online safety questions including how does our digital footprint affect us? Where does that video go when we put it online? What impact do our words and actions have on others? And most importantly who and where can we turn to if we every need help?

Once again, our One Day Creative Workshops were a great addition to our already broad E-Safety curriculum. They supported the key e-safety messages we share with children throughout the year in a fun and imaginative way.
