Today’s story was about when Jesus was a little boy. Only a little older than some of the children at our school. Like other children his age, he had gone on a journey with his parents. But there was a problem: he got lost! I wonder how many children at our school have found themselves separated from their adults, maybe in the shops or at the park. I bet your grown ups were really worried! When his parents found him he said sorry and had compassion for their worried feelings. He showed compassion for a lot of people throughout his life, especially for those who didn’t get much compassion from other people.
How can you be like Jesus and show compassion for those who might not get compassion from others?
