Pirate Day? I thought you said Parrot Day?
Pirate Day was a huge hit in Reception. The classroom was filled with colourful costumes and swooshing swords. An exciting day of pirate fun was planned with treasure hunts for gold (and chocolate!) coins, treasure looting team games, pirate dancing and thankfully no walking the plank.
Poor Mrs Campbell didn’t use her Phonics skills and read the letter wrong and came dressed as a parrot instead of a pirate!
