        What a Knight!

        Author: Alex Worrall

On Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th July, Year 6 put on a show stopping performance of What a Knight! by Musicline School Musicals. The children had been working extremely hard to learn their lines, songs and actions and were extremely excited to perform to their parents and carers.

The performance began in Camelot Castle full of colourful characters and follows the journey of a young squire Watt Cobblers who was expelled from Knight School.

Along with Princess Alice and a talking dragon, Dusty, the newfound friends help to save King Arthur’s daughters who have been kidnapped, help Merlin to find the lost Excalibur and defeat the evil Black Knight.

The production was full of singing, dancing, and lots of laughter at Camelot. All the children were involved in making this an amazing performance. The acting and singing were a chance for children to enjoy their moment in the spotlight.

Both performances were an enjoyable and memorable experience for all involved, as well as the audience. The production was the perfect opportunity for the children to show off their talents.

We are extremely proud of our Year 6s, they demonstrated enthusiasm, perseverance, dedication, and they definitely had the WOW Factor!
