On June 8th, we all celebrated World Oceans Day. We spent the day learning about the 5 main oceans and the differences between these. It was an absolutely fascinating day and we loved having the opportunity to take the time to reflect on these magnificent and majestic underwater worlds. While we were carrying out our learning, we developed our knowledge and understanding of some of the challenges that face the world’s oceans, how some people’s livelihoods depend on the oceans and what we, as Agents of Change, can do to protect our oceans. We then shared our learning in different ways; from poems and fact-files, to posters and iMotions. Not only that, but many of us have no been inspired to become marine biologists, oceanographers and even animal rights defenders, and ALL of us have agreed that we ALL need to do everything we can to stop the damage that is being done to these remarkable places.
