Year 3 Shine While Digging Up The Past!

        Author: Lorna Ockwell

Year 3 have wowed their peers, parents and carers with their stunning God given talents of speaking, acting, dancing and singing as they performed their year group assembly all about their History topic of ‘Digging Up The Past’.  Following the fabulous stories of Stone Age Boy and UG, they showed off their knowledge and learning about the Prehistoric periods of the Stone Age, with fun facts about how Britain developed in the way they hunted and cooked food, build their houses and monuments, made clothes and entertained themselves.  It was fun packed, full of enthusiastic singing and actions to songs such as an amusing version of We Will Rock You, through to a tear jerking rendition of Shine.  Even the stunning lighting effects were controlled by pupils showing their independence and courage.  Their teachers and adults from home were super proud of how they supported each other with compassion and empathy and shone with incredible Elsea Park Wow Factor.  Well done Year 3!
