To begin our new topic, Ice, Ice, Baby, Year 4 decided the only way they could really understand what this awe-inspiring, peaceful and magnificent land is really like, was to head there themselves. So they donned their hats, scarves and gloves and headed South. ALl the way South in fact, to the mysterious and wonderful Antarctica.
While they were there they were lucky enough to experience some once in a lifetime events. They got up close and personal with penguins, sledged over the icy floes and stood gawping at the magical Southern Lights.
This really was an adventure to remember. How lucky these little explorers were to visit such a unique and extraordinary place.
