Year 5 Get All Geared Up!
Our year 5s were all ‘geared up’ after their fabulous engineering workshops led by STEM ambassadors Augy and Tanis Harrison. Bringing along a wealth of their engineering experience and having worked with schools leading Lego League over the years, this husband and wife team introduced pupils to the key concepts of pulleys, levers and gears through a hands-on, practical, problem-solving workshop that the children threw themselves into with incredible energy and enthusiasm! One year five pupil announced it was “the best science lesson they had ever had!”
