Year 6 Feel the Beat
Year 6 have launched themselves into their new science topic ‘Feel the Beat’ by learning all about the circulatory system. They discovered there are three parts to the circulatory system the heart, blood vessels and blood.
They had lots of fun creating a class model of the circulatory system outside on the playground before writing their own explanation of how the circulatory system works.
In the following lesson they learnt all about blood, the parts and function of each part. Working in pairs they had to create their own blood using different ingredients before making a video explaining the different parts and their functions.
