What’s for lunch, Bert?
This week Year 2 exploded a new story, called The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch. In this story, a lighthouse keeper called Mr Grinling is plagued by seagulls who have been stealing his lunch! His wife makes a plan to make mustard sandwiches and the seagulls soon give up. We explored some other disgusting sandwich ingredients to write instructions for making our own sandwiches to ward off seagulls!
