At Bourne Elsea Park, we provide a safe and stimulating environment where all can flourish. Our Christian Values sit side-by-side our British Values and 3Rs, many other life values also permeate through all aspects of our school life. Our children live out these values in all that they do. Each term celebrates a different Christian Value and the children take great pride in demonstrating their understanding of each value. Our Christian Values this academic year are:
(Please click any of the Christian Values to find out more information about each Christian value)
Our Christian Values will be lived out in our school with the help of our Collective Worship Council. Our Collective Worship Council consists of one child from each class. Their main aims are to play an active role in planning, leading and evaluating Collective Worships, and to support Bourne Elsea Park as a Church school. As part of their role, they also undertake projects to help to reinforce our Christian Values, such as; creating prayer books linked to our Christian Values to be used in Collective Worships and in times of reflection; taking an active role in supporting our local community (for example delivering food to the local food bank and delivering our Christmas trees to the Bourne Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival), and creating Reflection Area activities to inspire and encourage children to put our Christian Values into practice.
Our Collective Worship Council is an integral part of Bourne Elsea Park’s Church distinctiveness. We are very proud of their achievements so far and we look forward to seeing how their roles, ideas and ventures develop over the forthcoming years.
